Product Summary

The HCPL-0601 is an optically coupled gate that combines a GaAsP light emitting diode and an integrated high gain photo detector. An enable input allows the detector to be strobed. The output of the HCPL-0601 is an open collector Schottkyclamped transistor. The internal shield provides a guaranteed common mode transient immunity specification up to 15,000 V/μs at Vcm=1000V. The applications of the HCPL-0601 include Isolated line receiver, Computer-peripheral interfaces, Microprocessor system interfaces, Digital isolation for A/D, D/A conversion, Switching power supply, Instrument input/output isolation, Ground loop elimination, Pulse transformer replacement, Power transistor isolation in motor drives and Isolation of high speed logic systems.
